PROCEDURES for EMERGENCIES

In the event of a hurricane or tornado the children will leave their classrooms and move to a hallway that is secure from flying glass or other flying debris. In the event of an emergency such as, but not limited to a natural disaster, chemical spills, intruder, or terrorism, the children will be removed to Great Bridge Middle School, 441 S. Battlefield Blvd.

The children will be taken inside the school or outside to the fenced yard. Parents will be
called to pick up their children in the event of either emergency. Again, please keep
your cell phone on at all times while your children are in school. Emergency
evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures/maps will be posted in the school office.
